Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is intended to inform data subjects about how Longeráné Turjányi Zita, the owner of Budai Alfa Kennel  – hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller – collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data.

1. Legal Basis and Purpose of Data Processing

The Data Controller collects and stores only the minimum amount of personal data necessary for contact and, in case of an assignment, for issuing invoices and fulfilling the contract. The data is processed based on one of the following legal grounds:

  • Consent of the data subject (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR),

  • Performance of a contract between the data subject and the Data Controller (Article 6(1)(b)),

  • Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., accounting, invoicing) (Article 6(1)(c)).

Personal data is never used for any other purposes without the data subject’s explicit consent or a legal basis.

2. Types of Data Processed

We may process the following personal data:

  • Full name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Billing name and address

  • Other information provided during contact or contract execution

3. Duration of Data Storage

  • Contact data: stored until the data subject requests deletion, but no longer than 2 years.

  • Billing data: stored for 8 years, as required by Act C of 2000 on Accounting.

  • Consent-based data: stored until the consent is withdrawn.

4. Data Sharing and Data Processing

The Data Controller does not share personal data with third parties unless:

  • The data subject has given written consent; or

  • It is required by law (e.g., tax authority or other official requests).

Data Processor: The Data Controller’s accountant, who receives invoices containing client names and postal addresses solely for accounting purposes. The accountant does not store, use, or transfer this data for any other reason.

5. Data Security

The Data Controller implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.

6. Children’s Data

To protect minors, the Data Controller does not collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16. If such data is unintentionally collected, it will be deleted immediately.

7. Rights of the Data Subject

The data subject may request:

  • Information about the processing of their personal data,

  • Rectification of inaccurate data,

  • Erasure of their personal data (“right to be forgotten”),

  • Restriction of processing,

  • Objection to processing,

  • Withdrawal of consent at any time.

The Data Controller will respond to such requests within 25 days, in writing and in a clear, understandable format.

8. Legal Remedies

If the data subject believes their rights have been violated, they may file a complaint with:
